The Snyder Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of acquiring, preserving, and disseminating valuable business information; advancing the civic, commercial, industrial, and agricultural interest of the City of Snyder, Texas , and the surrounding territory; and promoting the general welfare and prosperity of the citizens therein.

• Establish and maintain the trust of and effective communications with the Chamber Board
• Identify Chamber/Community needs through communications and involvement
• Establish and maintain active contact with membership and pursue new members
• Attract and motivate volunteers

• Responsible for establishing Chamber budget
• Responsible for employment, effective assignment, training, and supervision of all staff, within the policy guidelines
• Responsible and accountable for Chamber finances
• Responsible for maintaining positive interaction as a communicator and facilitator with all government and community entities

• Salary Range $45,000 - $55,000
• Insurance, Retirement, Vacation, Sick Leave

Educational requirements-BA required or will substitute experience for education.

Extensive pre-employment background and drug screening will be required.
